hook: size 14-20 standard dry fly hook
thread: yellow 8/0
tail: cream hackle fibers
body: pale yellow superfine dubbing
hackle: cream from a whitings 100 pack

1. put hook in vice and start thread behind eye
2. work thread to hook bend . tie in the hackle fibers for the tail
3. dub a fine body up to about 1/3 the length of the hook shank behind the eye
4. tie in hackle and wrap foreward
5. tie off and clip excess
6. whip finish and head cement

hook: size 12-14 wet fly hook
thread: black 8/0
rib: green copper wire
body: white floss
beard: red hackle fibers
wing: matched barred wood duck

1. put hook in vice
2. start thread and lay out a thread base wrap to a point about 1/3 of hook shank before hook bend
3. tie in copper wire and then floss
4. wrap even body of floss foreward tie off and trim
5. rib the floss with the copper wire. trim excess
6. tie in beard
7. tie in wing
8. whip finish and trim excess
