Grizzly Hen neck hackle, flashabou
Tie in two hackles on each side of the tail, and orient them so that each side is curving away from each other. Palmer more hackles all the way to the hook eye. Dumbbell eyes and weedguard are optional.

Deer body hair, sparkle braid, bucktail, marabou, mallard flank feather, 6xl Streamer hook
1. Tie in the marabou tail
2. Starting at the hook bend, wrap sparkle braid towards the eye until about 1/4″ of hook shank is left.
3. Tie in a clump of deer hair (or calf tail, any floating hair should do)
4. Tie in a mallard flank feather as shown, just a smidge longer than the hook shank.
5. Spin/stack one full clump of bucktail, then another. Trim as shown, flat on bottom and wide and curved on top like a sculpin head. Leave a collar as shown. The wide head with a flat bottom is key to get the action of the fly right.
