and attachto hook. cover each digit with thread to form individual finger and toes. add layers of foam to build up legs , head and body. cver with epoxy and paint.

Tie on to hook
cut shape out of foam leaving a tag at the head tail
tie in tail of foam at the bend in the hook then work your thread to the eye of the hook where you will tie on the head tag whip finish
color the foam with markers
with a needle add the rubber legs
coat entire bug (except legs) with 5 min epoxy

tie in body
cut shape thorax head then add antena phobosi
tie on thorax head section
cut 2 equal wings from swiss straw color

eyes : 50lb mono
Legs : 50lb mono swiss straw
Body : furry foam swiss straw
Claws : craft foam epoxy
antena : GSP

Place hook in vice;tie on add lead wire for weight , mono eyes GSP for antena
cut bend mono for legs
start new thread on mono add swiss straw as shown..continue to form all six legs
tie on legs as shown
cut craft foam to form claws
tie claws in front of legs
tie in furry foam on top
tie in swiss straw for top bottom
