Blešoun (Czech nymph) »

#8 grub hook
lots of lead
green body cover
hare dubbing dyed olive
red SLF
hare dubbing dyed black
.25 mm monofilament ribbing

Pretty obvious, the only tricky part is avoiding of fat ass - i.e. do not wrap the lead all the way to hook bend and leave some space to tie in the rubber back and mono ribbing.
Also avoid extending the body past the hook bend - the hook could straighten and you risk loosing of the big one.

Carotenoid Gammarus »

Gammarus hook, lots of lead, amber dubbing, brown shell back and monofilament ribbing.

When the season ends and all the leafs are fallen the gammarus shrimp feast on decaying leafs. The beautiful colors of autumn leafs are from Caroten (the color of carrot), some of which passes to body of the shrimp and it gets the color of fallen leaf.
So for anybody that cares about such things: this is an imitative fly and not an attractor :-)

Hare’s Mask Emerger »

Hook: TMC 103BL #19
Tailing: 2-3 strands of Flashabou
Rib: thin gold tinsel
Body: short and spiky hair from hare’s ear
Wing: 2 CDC feathers
Thorax / Legs: longer hair fom hare’s mask, teased out

Tie in the Flashabou and tinsel, dub the body. It should be fairly short, leaving space for the wing and thorax. Wind the ribbing, three turns is about it for #19 hook. Roughen the body up with some velcro (if it looks like a trout has just chewed it up you are doing it right).
Tie in the wing, dub in fairly big thorax from the longer hair on hares mask and tease out some hairs to form legs. Whip finish and a little drop of head cement to finish the head.
