Microfibetts, Rainy’s foam, CdC and Stalcups Medallion Sheeting.
Make a abdomen of foam Steve Thornton style. Keep a slip of the foam for the thorax. Tye in wings from Medallion. Make a dubbingloop and make a CdC-hackle. Fold the foam slip over the thorax beteeen the wings.

Soft Chenille, cock hackles, Medallion, stretch floss.
Make an abdomen from the chenille and tye in light brown medallion wings. Wind a red and a black hackle and tye in two orange stretch floss trailing legs that you paint the tops of.

Brown mallard, brown dubbing, Thin skin, nylon trhread, ostrich herl, goose biots, herls from golden pheasant, Nymph Head Bead
Fix a Nymph Head Bead on the hook. Three fibres from brown mallard as tail. Make an abdomen from brown dubbing and rib with the ostrich herl. Fold the thin skin over the abdomen and rib over with the nylon. Let the thin skin rest and tye in two biots. Tye in six legs from the herls of a golden pheasant tail feather (Thornton) and dub sparcely between them. Fold the thin skin over the torax and fix at the head bead. Fold the two biots over as well.

Brown mallard, Nymph Skin, nylon, ostrich, Nymph Head Bead, goose biots, dubbing and partridge.
Tail from mallard. Abdomen is Nymph Skin with ostrich on the sides. All ribbed with nylon tying thread. Thorax is dubbing and the wing buds is goose biots. The head is Nymph Head Bead.
