tail: red wool or dyed red duck wing quills
body: flat silver tinsel
rib: silver oval wire
wing: peacock sword with red duck quill thin strips on each side (red duck quill optional)
hackle: black hen
1: start with locking knot
2: tie in tail
3: tie in silver oval wire and leave hanging out the back
4: tie on tinsel leave hanging over the back
5: wind thread to the shoulder of the hook
6: wind tinsel to the shoulder of the hook and tie it on
7: wind oval wire evenly to the front to form the ribbing and tie it on
8: tie on the wing
9: apply hackle
10: whip finish

rib: fine gold wire
body: dark brown seals fur dubbing
wing: texas whitetail hair
1: start with a locking knot
2: stack deer hair
3: apply tail
4: apply wire
5: apply wing halfway up the hook (wing needs to fan out 180 degrees)
6: apply dubbing
7: apply rib
8: dub head
9: whip finish

Hook: Size 8-10
Thread: Back
Body: Orange Chenille
Rib: Fine Gold Wire
fur: Black Cat Fur
1: Start your fly with locking knot
2: cut off a 10cm length of wire and tie in to the curve of the hook.
3: wind cotton back to the shoulder of the hook and tie on chenille.
4: wind chenille to the curve of the hook and then back to the shoulder and tie on. Cut the excess chenille off.
5: carefully cut a 5cm length of black cat fur off with a hobby knife or scalpel.
6: tie a little bit of the skin on at the front.
7: wrap the wire between the hairs of the fur and around the hook about three times.
8: tie onto the front.
9: whip finish
