Brassie wire olive
Partridge Natural
Emerger hook size 16
Start half way on the hook bend, wrap the wire in tight turns, one turn in front of the other. Wrap thread around wire at the head of the fly. Select a nice partridge feather, with the ends of the barbs just going past the bend of the hook. Palmer the partridge feather and tie tip in. After securing the partridge trim of excess. Wrap the feather just as you did with the wire. After a couple of wraps secure the feather with a couple of wraps of thread. Take your fingers and pull feather back. Make the head of the fly and whip finish. Take some super glue or equivalant glue and place drop on tag end of wire where you first started.
