Tail: Ringneck Pheasant fibers 3-5
Body: Monster Dry Brown Dubbing
Legs: Ringneck Pheasant 3-5 fibers tied
Wings: Center Ringneck Pheasant Rooster Tail

Step1. Turn black 6/0 thread onto hook to the bend or just over the barb.
Step2. Tie in 3-5 fibers from Pheasant tail at bend or above barb of hook, dab of cement.
Step3. Dub heavily 1/3 of hook with monster dry dubbing, tie in one set of legs extending them beyond the hook bend.
Step4: Dub another 1/3 and tie in another set of legs.
Step5. Dub up to about ¼’behind the hook eye and tie in another set of legs.
Step6: Dub to behind the hook eye.
Step7: Select 2 nice ¼ inch wings from center Pheasant tail and tie on with wings pointing slightly outward flat to the body.
Step8: Tie on eyes and wrap several times to fill in the spaces between the eyes with figure eights and the whip finish behind the eyes.

I always cement every section I tie down when tying for fishing, they hold up fantastic.

There you have it takes a little time but the results are amazing. The fish just Love UM.
Fish them often and have fun and enjoy, let me know how you do with your new pattern.

Thanks Tina Shank

The saddle hackles tied in flat are the tricky part. I cement the hackle quills together. I also cement the jungle cock in place along the center of the wing hackles.
