Tail: pheasant feather -purple
Body: peacock tail feather and lame fiber
Hackle: white cock neck feather, pheasant feather -purple
Tie first pheasant purple feather forming with the base of the feathers the tail. Leave the ends of the feather at the upper side of the hook near the head in up position. Secure in up position forming figure 8 with the thread.
Tie the lame fiber and 2 peacock tail feathers at the back. Tie the peacock feathers around the hook to the hackle. Tie over the lame fibers, leaving at the butt and before the hackle some of the peacock feathers. Tie the white cock neck feather to form hackle. Secure and cement at the bottom.

Start thread on hook
tie in hackle fibers as the tail
tie in then wrap forward chenille
tie off chenille
tie in hackle and wrap 2 or 3 times
tie off hackle
form a thread head and make whip finish or half hitch knots to finish
